An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Print Production Operative to join our growing team.

Role

The role of Print Production Operative will be based in our large format print and production department, working with Vutek® printers, Kongsberg® cutting table, Burkle Liquid Coater, Matic Sewing machine as well as other wide format print equipment. The role will include both running of the machines, finishing and sign making duties to help facilitate the day-to-day requirements.

We are firm believers in long-term people development, knowledge sharing and skill retention. Our collaborative ethos ensures our production operatives are exposed to and responsible for a variety of functions within the department.

Essential skills & experience

  • Print operative with experience with Vutek or similar UV wide format printers (Durst, HP Scitex, AGFA)
  • Experience with flatbed cutting tables such as Kongsberg, Zund or Dyss
  • Finishing large format print products to include; vinyl weeding and preparation, vinyl application, laminating, eyeletting and hemming
  • Exceptional eye for detail and quality control
  • Strong communication skills
  • Able to work as a team player and independently
  • Flexible work experience
  • Can follow health and safety procedures
  • Forklift license advantageous but not essential
