Issues can occur printing directly to Polypropylene sheet materials with many of the UV direct-to-board printer inks, especially when cutting through the print area after printing. This releases the surface tension of the ink and creates a weak point, where ink can easily chip away or water ingress can occur, lifting the ink away from the board.
Increased lifespan of your product
Primers and sealers can dramatically increase the lifespan of the printed product and provide additional protection to the printed surface. Sealing can also provide protection against UV light from the sun which reduces any fading of the inks. A range of coatings are available including primer, colours, clear gloss, matt and anti-graffiti.
