Concealed with anticipation and glamour
A refurbishment project for luxury French shoe brand Corthay’s store in Belgravia, London is stylishly concealed with impactful window and door graphics, designed by interior designers JMI Group. As well as stylishly concealing the building work inside, the Corthay store window graphics create brand awareness and inform the local community and passers-by about the store opening.
Precision for a premium finish
Studio One was contacted by JMI Group to site survey the store, capture measurements of the individual windows, along with window mullion dimensions and positioning. During the survey we established that the doors had ornate internal metalwork, which meant graphics needed to be fixed to the exterior. From this survey we created an accurate design template for JMI’s design team and upon receipt of their artwork our pre-press team performed all the necessary checks to ensure the files were suitable for print.
Our approach
The window graphics were reverse-printed on clear removable Mactac JT8700 CG-RT vinyl and backed with JT8500 WG-PT white gloss vinyl for extra colour vibrancy, then each graphic was accurately cut in reverse on our Kongsberg flatbed cutting table to ensure a perfect fit and installed internally to prevent the graphics being tampered with. The front door graphics were printed on JT8700 WM-PG permanent white matt vinyl, laminated with LF8700 CG-UV clear gloss laminate. Finally, our accredited team installed the graphics, ensuring a premium-looking finish, suitable for the prestigious location.
